Softscape’s Competency Management focuses not only on competencies, but also on tools designed for managing competencies – competency categories, supporting definitions, behaviours, on-the-job activities and development opportunities.
Competency Management is a pivotal element for aligning corporate core values with individual goals and career plans. Competencies are also baseline measurements for skill development. They are categories for assessment of an individual’s expertise, know-how, mastery, or qualifications for a particular job.
Also included is the Softscape Competency Library which includes a comprehensive set of basic skills including, but not limited to: Leadership, Decision-Making, Interpersonal, Loyalty, Negotiating, Organising and Planning, Client Relationships, Integrity.
Competency Management can also take the guesswork out of predicting future-on-the-job performance and behaviour and provide recruitment managers with the information they need to make an informed hiring decision or recommendation.
